If not built within one year and the site is not used for <br />armory purposes said site shall revert to the City of Redwood City. The City will be able to use <br />the armory at any time agreeable to the armory board. City Manager added that in re to cost of the <br />road the National Guard would stand one-half of the cost of construction and one-half of the cost <br />r— I of maintenance and this would be a rather substantial sum as this may cope between $2000 to $5000. <br />6.». Four points were stated by City Attorney in favor of the City were: (1) Use of the building. (2) <br />r' <br />t. <br />City may ultimately buy building. (3) If armory is not built City will still have the property. (4) <br />Property will be taken care of that the City will need some day. (5) One-half of cost of maintenance <br />and construction of road will be taken care of by National Guard. Councilman Granger moved that <br />affidavit of publication on notice calling for bids be filed, seconded by Councilman Spillers, and <br />carried. Councilman Spillers moved that the report of the City Manager who was appointed as appraiser <br />be filed and that the Council go on record concurring in his statement on the sale of the property to <br />National Guard, seconded by Councilman Swift, and carried.
