<br />"The California .:tate --isaster Council shall establish by rule and regulation various
<br />classes of disaster service workers and the scope of the riuties of each class. The
<br />California State Disaster Council shallalso adont rules and regulations prescribing;
<br />the manner .in which disaster service ',corkers of each class are to be registered.
<br />All such rules and regulations shall '�e designed to facilitate the paying of work-
<br />men's compensation", and

<br />by the California State Disaster Council pursuant to the -provisions of Section 1509.1
<br />of this code and substantially complies with such rules and regulations shall by certi-
<br />fied by the California State Disaster Council. Upon raking such certification, and not
<br />before, the �3isaster council becomes an accre-iited disaster council", and
<br />vHf,REAS, the City of Redwood City has rNgistered and '..rill hereafter register volunteer Disaster
<br />Service 'corkers, and
<br />?e'..�REAS, the City of Red•400d City desires to become an "Accredited Disaster Council" cr,,aniza-
<br />tion in order that injured Disaster Service workers registered ritil it may benefit by the provisions
