M. DUNCAN on file <br />in the office of the City Clerk, and did. take the testimony of said L. M. DUNCAN <br />as to the condition of said building; <br />T�-TERENIORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City and said <br />Council does hereby declare the building or structure situated upon the real prop- <br />erty hereinabove described to be a public nuisance and does hereby direct the <br />owners thereof to abate said nuisance within thirty (30) days from the adoption of <br />this resolution, by having said building razed or removed, and if said building is <br />not so abated by said owners, the Building Inspector of the City of Redwood City <br />is hereby ordered and directed to raze or remove said building and that the expenses <br />thereof be made a lien on the lot or parcel of land from which said building or <br />structure is removed and wnien is hereinabove described. <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular <br />meeting thereof held on the loth day of February, 1945, by the following vote: <br />AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing resolution: <br />Councilmen: Britechgi, GranCD <br />ger, Holmquist, Swift, Werder and Mayor Hilti.on. <br />NOES, Councilmen: NONk� <br />ABSENT, Councilmen: McNulty <br />ATTEST: <br />RALPH S. Councilman Britscngi reported committee's recommendation <br />that City Attorney Currie be authorized to take steps to purenase the Perry Off <br />Street Parking Lot and it was moved by Councilman Britschgi to start proceedings <br />for tnis purchase, seconded by Councilman Werder, and carried. <br />LEMOLT TRACT 1AZPROVE11ENTS. City Engineer Glenn Jain stated tr-) t the petition does not <br />carry signatures of over 50% of property owners in this area.. His recommendation is <br />chat the matter be held up until more names are secured. It was moved by Council- <br />man Holmquisz, and seconded by Councilman '.,'erder, that City Clerk communicate with <br />the people who signed the petition advising them that it will be necessary for <br />them to secure more names if they wish to go ahead with the improvements at this <br />time.
