0 0 8 A& N lr!!EREAS, said Council did proceed, on the lbth day of February, 1948, with 349 said hearing and after considering all objections made and received does determine ghat due and legal notice of said hearing was given as required by the ordinances of the City of Redwood City, as appears from tee affidavit of L. M. DUNCAN on file in the office of the City Clerk, and did. take the testimony of said L. M. DUNCAN as to the condition of said building; T�-TERENIORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City and said Council does hereby declare the building or structure situated upon the real prop- erty hereinabove described to be a public nuisance and does hereby direct the owners thereof to abate said nuisance within thirty (30) days from the adoption of this resolution, by having said building razed or removed, and if said building is not so abated by said owners, the Building Inspector of the City of Redwood City is hereby ordered and directed to raze or remove said building and that the expenses thereof be made a lien on the lot or parcel of land from which said building or structure is removed and wnien is hereinabove described. Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at a regular meeting thereof held on the loth day of February, 1945, by the following vote: AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing resolution: Councilmen: Britechgi, GranCD ger, Holmquist, Swift, Werder and Mayor Hilti.on. Councilman Britscngi reported committee's recommendation that City Attorney Currie be authorized to take steps to purenase the Perry Off Street Parking Lot and it was moved by Councilman Britschgi to start proceedings for tnis purchase, seconded by Councilman Werder, and carried. LEMOLT TRACT 1AZPROVE11ENTS. City Engineer Glenn Jain stated tr-) t the petition does not carry signatures of over 50% of property owners in this area.. His recommendation is chat the matter be held up until more names are secured. It was moved by Council- man Holmquisz, and seconded by Councilman '.,'erder, that City Clerk communicate with the people who signed the petition advising them that it will be necessary for them to secure more names if they wish to go ahead with the improvements at this time.
