V WHEREAS the Council of the City of Redwood City, did, on the 14th day of August, 194b, pass and adopt Resolution of Intention No. 194b-3, to order the following work to be done and improvements to be made in said City of Redwood City, to -wit: Grading and paving the following streets and portions of streets by constructing a six inch waterbound macadam base and one and one-half inch asphalt concrete surface; construct combined concrete curbs and gutters and four inch cement sidewalks five feet wide along each side of each of such streets; grading and paving shall be done and constructed on all streets and Intersections of streets herein mentioned as follows: a. Linden Street between a line drawn between the most southerly point of Lot 5 in Block A and the most easterly point of Lot 7 of Block B of Boyd & Kent's Addition as shown on recorded map thereof, and the terminus of said Libden Street in Park Street. b. Park Street from the northeasterly line of Cypress Street to the terminus thereof in Linden Street; c. Center Street from the southwesterly line of E1 Camino Real to the northeasterly line of Murray Court; d. Madrone Street between the southeasterly boundary of Boyd & Kent's Addition as shown on recorded map thereof and the northwesterly line of Park Street; e. Cypress Street between the southeasterly boundary of Boyd & Kent's Addition as shown on recorded map thereof and the northwesterly line of Park Street; f. McEvoy Street for the entire length thereof; WHEREAS the Council of said City of Redwood City did, on the 12th day of February, 1948, order Notice of Filing of the Assessment for the Improvement of above named streets and portions of streets and setting a time for hearing in the Council Chamber of the City Hall of the City of Redwood City at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M. on the 15th day of March, 1945, at which time all persons interested in the work done, or in the assessment, will be heard by said City Council, and WHEREAS, at the day, hour and place above mentioned, when and where objections could be made as aforesaid, nine written objections were made to said work and improvements or to the -extent of the district to be assessed therefor; and WHEREAS, said Council did proceed to hear and consider the same, and did, thereafter, duly and regularly continue hearing to the regular meeting thereof held on the 5th day of April, 1948; WHEREAS, said Council did further proceed to hear and consider aforementioned objections and one additional written protest; THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redw000d City and said Council does hereby determine and declare that said protests and objections were not and are not made by the owners of one-half of the area of the property in the district to be assessed for said work and improvements; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by said Council that -siad written protests and objections, and each and all thereof, be and the same are hereby overruled. The above and foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted by the Council of Redwood City at a regular meeting thereof held on the 5th day of April, 1948, by the follwing vote; AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing Resolution: Councilmen: BRITSCHGI, GRANGER,HOLMQUIST, McNULTY, SWIFT, WERDER and Mayor HILTON.
