Transfer of $40,000 from the General Reserve Fund to General Fund Cash to be loaned to the 1944 Series Bond Fund and to be repaid upon receipt of pol� monies from the issue of $600,000 approved April 15th and funds to be received on %, or about June 15, 1948 was offered for adoption by Councilman Werder, seconded by Councilman Britschgi, and carried on roll call. RESOLUTION No. 566 RESOLUTION requesting authority to transfer funds from the General Fund to the 1944 Series City Bond Fund pending receipt of funds from $600,000 Bond issue approved on April 15, 1948. RESOLVED and it is hereby ordered that the sum of $40,000 in the General Reserve Fund be transferred to Feneral Fund Cash. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED and ordered that this $40,000 be loaned to the 1944 Series Bond Fund, to be repaid upon receipt of monies from the issue of $600,000 approved April 15th and funds to be received on or about June 15, 1948. Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at its regular meeting held on the 19th day of April, 1948, bu the following vote: AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing Resolution: Councilmen: BRITSCHGI, GRNAGER, HOLMQUIST, McNULTY, SWIFT, WERDER, and Mayor HILTON. HILTON Mayor of the City of Redwood City. 61.d COUNCILMAN GRANGER discussed the appointment of Board of Adjustment and City Attorney explained that the Council appointed three members of the Planning Commission whose function was to pass on use permits and have all power of routine matters. COUNCILMAN GRANGER PROPOSED PLANTING GIFT OF 400 Redwood trees along creek in new Community Park. Councilman Granger stated that possibly sometime the creek in the new park may be pooled up, that he was able to get 400 Redwood trees, which would allow 200 for each side of the creek, and therefore moved that this be referred to the Park Commission. Motion was seconded by Councilman Werder, and carried.
