Transfer of $40,000 from the General Reserve Fund to General Fund <br />Cash to be loaned to the 1944 Series Bond Fund and to be repaid upon receipt of <br />pol� monies from the issue of $600,000 approved April 15th and funds to be received on <br />%, or about June 15, 1948 was offered for adoption by Councilman Werder, seconded by <br />Councilman Britschgi, and carried on roll call. <br />RESOLUTION No. 566 <br />RESOLUTION requesting authority to transfer funds from the General Fund to <br />the 1944 Series City Bond Fund pending receipt of funds from $600,000 Bond issue <br />approved on April 15, 1948. <br />RESOLVED and it is hereby ordered that the sum of $40,000 in the General <br />Reserve Fund be transferred to Feneral Fund Cash. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED and ordered that this $40,000 be loaned to the 1944 <br />Series Bond Fund, to be repaid upon receipt of monies from the issue of $600,000 <br />approved April 15th and funds to be received on or about June 15, 1948. <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at its regular <br />meeting held on the 19th day of April, 1948, bu the following vote: <br />AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing Resolution: <br />Councilmen: BRITSCHGI, GRNAGER, HOLMQUIST, McNULTY, SWIFT, WERDER, and Mayor <br />HILTON. <br />NOES, and opposed to the passage and adoption of the foregoing Resolution: <br />Councilmen: NONE <br />ABSENT: Councilmen: NONE <br />W. HILTON <br />Mayor of the City of Redwood City. <br />61.d COUNCILMAN GRANGER discussed the appointment of Board of Adjustment and City Attorney <br />explained that the Council appointed three members of the Planning Commission whose <br />function was to pass on use permits and have all power of routine matters. <br />COUNCILMAN GRANGER PROPOSED PLANTING GIFT OF 400 Redwood trees along creek in new <br />Community Park. Councilman Granger stated that possibly sometime the creek in the <br />new park may be pooled up, that he was able to get 400 Redwood trees, which would <br />allow 200 for each side of the creek, and therefore moved that this be referred to <br />the Park Commission. Motion was seconded by Councilman Werder, and carried. <br />COUNCILMAN HOLMQTTIST PROPOSED CORRECTION in old ordinance or new one governing Circuses <br />or Carnivals that have portable bleachers of any kind; also that circuses or <br />carnivals showing in Redwood City present their insurance policies showing high <br />
