WHEREAS real property hereinafter described was duly deeded on the 26th day 407 <br />of October, 1945, to the City of Redwood City, pursuant to the provisions of Divi- <br />sion 1, Part 6, Chapter g, Article 1, of the Revenue and Taxation Code; and <br />WHEREAS said City of Redwood City has not sold the hereinafter described property <br />within the period contained in the agreement under which said property was deeded to <br />the City of Redwood City; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of Redwood City does hereby <br />authorize the reconveyance to the State of California, under the provisions of <br />Section 3807.5 of the Revenue and Taxation Code, of the following described property: <br />Lot 11, Block 46 CENTRAL PARK 2, which map was filed in the office <br />of the Recorder of the County of San Mateo, State of California on <br />July 20, 1912 in Book 8 of Maps at pages 15 and 16. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of this City be, and he is hereby, author- <br />ized to execute such conveyance for and on behalf of the City. <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of Redwood City at a meeting thereof held on <br />the 20th day of April, 19480 by the following vote: <br />hr.. It was introduced at this time to save <br />a month's rent, and complete the transaction by th let of May. <br />RESOLUTION No. 56g. MAYOR HILTON ANNOUNCED THE NEXT ORDER OF BUSINESS WAS THE CANVASSING <br />OF VOTES. Tally sheets were read by the City Clerk and checked by Councilmen <br />Britschgi and Werder and unofficial returns found to be correct. Resolution declar- <br />ing canvass and returns of Municipal Election in all sixteen (16) precincts with <br />each candidate found that Floyd D. Granger, Harvey Edwin Holmquist, Alber H. Morgan, <br />Jr. and Robert (BOb) Spillers received the highest number of votes and were elected <br />Councilmen, was offered and moved for adoption by Councilman Werder, seconded by <br />Councilman Granger, and carried on roll call. <br />R E S 0 L U T ION No. 568 <br />DECLARING CANVASS OF RETURNS AND RESULT OF MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD <br />APRIL 13, 1948. <br />WHEREAS, a general municipal election was held in the City of Redwood -City, <br />California, on the 13th day of April, 1948 at which four (4) members of the City <br />Council of said City were to be elected; and <br />WHEREAS, all notices required in connection with said municipal election were <br />duly published as required by law, as appears from affidavits of publication thereof <br />on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of said City is the body required by law to canvass <br />the -returns of said general municipal election; and <br />WHEREAS, it appears that said general municipal election was held in accordance <br />
