RESOLUTIO14 AUTHORIZING MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AGREEMENT FOR MAINTEN- ANCE OF STATE HIGHWAY IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY WHEREAS the Department of Public Works of the State of California, acting by � and through the Division of Highways, and the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY desire to provide for the maintenance of certain portions of certain State Highway Routes in the City Mimi of Redwood City; and WHEREAS it is agreed -that the City will maintain portions lying between the curb lines and the right-of-way lines on El Camino Real and Woodside Road; and WHEREAS an agreement providing for the maintenance of said portions of State highways has been prepared and presented to the said City of Redwood City for exe- cution; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City that the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they hereby are, authorized to execute said agree- ment on behalf of the City of Redwood City. LAURIE was brought up by City Engineer Jain and stated he believed Building Inspector Duncan concurred that this should be rejected as they are within 75 feet from an existing manhole and can reach a setrrer in two directions.
