topographic mapping features. The Caltrans encroachment permit applications will be prepared
by CONSULTANT for signature by CITY. The CONSULTANT will require assistance from the
CITY if investigations require access to private properties, such as for surveys or environmental
work (including cultural resources survey or inventory). It is assumed that CONSULTANT can
provide a list of the private parcels requiring access to the CITY, and the CITY will contact and
seek permission to enter for the identified properties.
Task 2-Deliverables
^' Survey Report
 `A'+'B'+'C' submittals to Caltrans
'` Base Mapping
` Alternatives Matrix
` List of Design Exceptions
-' US Route 101 Over/Undercrossing Alternatives Study
BicyclelPedestrian Complete Streets Checklist Technical Memo
C' Stormwater Evaluations Technical Memo
❑ Right of Way Requirements
C Utility Impacts Analysis
C:, Preliminary Cost Estimate
' Access Permit Applications
Task 3-Traffic Forecast and Operational Analysis
CONSULTANT will perform the following tasks to prepare the traffic analyses to support the
proj ect:
Task 3.1 -Forecast Modeling Options& Analysis Methodologies
CONSULTANT will review the available information related to the City of Redwood City travel
demand forecast (TDF) model and the City/County Association of Governments (C/CAG) TDF
model to determine which of these two available models should be used for developing the study
area forecasts. The Request for Proposal defined the study area to include the area bounded by
Maple Street, Blomquist Street, Broadway, Chestnut Street and Veterans Avenue.
CONSULTANT recommends that the PDT extend the study area along Woodside Road to
Middlefield Avenue to capture any metering of the traffic by these intersections in terms of flow
toward ar away from the interchange.
