■ Caltrans will provide existing survey control. Monuments in the Route 101 right of way are <br /> assumed to be in Caltrans current coordinate system and not require a separate GPS survey to <br /> tie them into adjacent state facilities. <br /> ■ Survey work will be performed during daylight hours, based on an eight hours workday. <br /> Non-Standard Desi n�ptions <br /> ■ One (1) mandatory and one (1) advisory Fact Sheet will be prepared for the design <br /> exceptions associated with each of the two Build Alternatives. <br /> Traffic Studies <br /> ■ Accident data for the three years prior to the commencement of this study will be used <br /> ■ Traffic Engineering Performance Assessment(TEPA) is not required <br /> Project Report Process <br /> ■ Preparation of a Supplemental PSR/PDS or separate PSR document is not included. <br /> ■ Caltrans and the CITY will execute a Cooperative Agreement for the PA&ED. Freeway <br /> agreements are not needed at this time. <br /> Environmental Review Process <br /> ■ An IS and routine EA document is assumed in compliance with CEQA and NEPA <br /> requirements. <br /> ■ Caltrans will be the lead agency for CEQA and NEPA. <br /> ■ Up to two build alternatives will be analyzed for environmental effects. <br /> ■ Environmental permit applications are not included in this scope of services. <br /> ■ The project will fall within BCDC jurisdiction. <br /> ■ Caltrans NEPA review of the Draft IS/EA will take place at the Second Administrative Draft <br /> stage. <br /> ■ Comments on the Public Draft IS/EA will not require further environmental studies, <br /> evaluation of additional alternatives, or revisions to technical studies. <br /> ■ Up to 50 public comments will be submitted. <br /> Air Ouality Studies <br /> ■ The project will require quantitative evaluation in a PM2.5 hot spot analysis. <br /> ■ No new data or analysis will be required to respond to comments on the PM2.5 hot spot <br /> analysis. <br /> Biolo�;ical Studies <br /> ■ A single season survey will be provided. Surveys over multiple seasons are not assumed. <br /> ■ One field meeting with USACE to review jurisdictional delineation is assumed. <br /> ■ The project is assumed to qualify for Nationwide Permit authorization.
