Plans, directs, and manages City-wide development and training <br /> programs, and employee wellness programs. <br /> 13. Performs required duties under the City's disaster response plan. <br /> 14. Oversees the City's EEO programs and supervises and/or conducts <br /> investigations of alleged harassment or discriminatory conduct, represents <br /> the City to regulatory agencies to address formal complaints and prepares <br /> appropriate documentation. <br /> 15. Coordinates workforce planning and succession planning initiatives with <br /> City departments. <br /> 16. Prepares, administers, and maintains the Human Resources Division <br /> budgets including forecasting future needs as well as monitoring and <br /> controlling expenditures. <br /> 17. Researches, compiles, analyzes and evaluates general and statistical <br /> information regarding selection procedures, recruitment methods, benefits <br /> administration, compensation, and related human resources practices. <br /> 18. Prepares and directs the preparation of a variety of written <br /> correspondence, reports, procedures, analyses, and other written <br /> materials. <br /> 19. Keeps the Assistant City Manager properly informed of activities and <br /> issues of the division. Prepares for and makes presentations to City staff <br /> and the City Council, as necessary. <br /> 20. Attends human resources conferences and seminars to remain current of <br /> professional and legal issues and continually monitor's the City's <br /> compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations. <br /> 21.
