The Downtown area has a vanety of open spaces that allow for recreational opportunifies. Fxamples include a <br /> small plaza at Broadway and Arguello and a parklet atMain/Marshall/Spnng, which provide shade and greenery; <br /> Courthouse Sguare, which is acfively programmed with dancing, ice skafing, music, and other events; and Seguoia <br /> High School which features a seven-acre park and ballfields All of these recreational facilities are within about a <br /> 20-minute walkfrom the projectsite. In adc&tion, the developer is reguired to pay a parkin-lieu fee, which will be <br /> used by the City to create new parkland as needs anse over fime.
