3.b Prepare 75% Design Plans and Cost After the 35% comments have been resolved, Consultant will prepare 75°/a design level plans and a construction cost estimate. These plans will include all anticipated sheets and present the complete project design including final layout design, grading plans, final drainage plans, utility relocation plans, temporary storm water treatment, construction staging and traffic handling plans, and quantity sheets. The construetion cost estimate will be updated using the 75% quantities and any additional options that have been agreed on with the City. 3. c Prepare Draft Specifications Consultant will prepare the draft construction specifications including both the technical specifications and the administrative specifications based on the City's boilerplate contract documents. Task 3 Deliverables • Response to 35%comments • 75% level project plans in AutoCAD and PDF • 75%level construction cost estimate in Excel • Draft construction contract specifications in Word TASK 4—FINAL DESIGN 4. a Prepare 100% Plans and Cost After receipt of the review comments on the 75% submittal, Consultant will prepare a response to comments and resolve all responses with the City. Consultant will prepare final 100% plans including all details. Consultant will prepare a final construction cost estimate based on the 100% complete plans. Any necessary adjustments to the added options will be discussed with the City and implemented. 4. b Prepare Final Specifications Consultant will prepare the final construction specifications based on the City comments on the draft specifications review. The final specifications will include all construction contract requirements. 4.c Prepare Construction Bid Package After City review and comment on the 100% submittal, Consultant will incorporate all comments and produce a final set of construction contract documents ready for the City to put out to bid. Task 4 Deliverables: • 100% plans,specifications and estimate(PS&E) • Final contract documents • All final documents as source files (e.g. AutoCAD,Word and Excel) • All final documents in PDF format TASK 5—CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING SUPPORT 5.a Bid Period Support Consultant will provide bid period support by attending the pre-bid conference and responding to questions during the bid period. It is assumed the City will administer the bid process and be the central point of contact for contractors with bid questions. 5.b Construction Period Support It is assumed the City will administer the construction contract and provide the daily inspection.
