ORDER ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: <br /> The Contractor must provide written confirmation to the ordering agency receipt of the purchase order via e- <br /> mail, facsimile or U.S. mail within ten (10) days of receipt of order. <br /> The written conformation will include: <br /> • Ordering agency name <br /> • Agency order number (Purchase Order number) <br /> • Description <br /> • Date order was placed <br /> • Total cost <br /> • Delivery date <br /> 12. DELIVERY SCHEDULES: <br /> Delivery is to be completed in full within sixty (60) days after receipt of order (ARO). <br /> 13. EMERGENCY /EXPEDITED ORDERS: <br /> Not applicable to this contract. <br /> 14. FREE ON BOARD (FOB) DESTINATION: <br /> All prices are F.O.B. destination; freight prepaid by the Contractor, to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), <br /> Fleet Operations, 3300 Reed Ave., West Sacramento, CA 95605 only. All other ordering agencies shall <br /> contact the Contractor directly for a quote on freight charges to their location. Except for the CHP, the <br /> delivery fee shall be listed as a separate line item on the ordering agencies' purchasing document. <br /> Responsibility and liability for loss or damage for all orders will remain with the Contractor until final <br /> inspection and acceptance, when all responsibility will pass to the purchasing agency, except the <br /> responsibility for latent defects, fraud, and the chosen warranty obligations. <br /> 15. SHIPPED ORDERS: <br /> All motorcycles shall be completely serviced, inspected, properly adjusted, and road tested before delivery, <br /> including the proper fill of all fluids and lubricants. The Contractor shall insure that each Enforcement <br /> Motorcycle reaches its delivery point with a full tank of fuel and a fully charged battery. <br /> Contract motorcycle(s) delivered with more than one hundred (100) miles on the odometer shall not be <br /> accepted. The Contractor shall cover all costs related to picking up the rejected motorcycle from the <br /> purchasing agency. <br /> All shipments must comply with General Provisions (rev 6/08/2010), Paragraph 12 entitled "Packing and <br /> Shipment ".
