MATTERS OF COUNCIL INTEREST <br /> A. Vice Mayor Ruskin commended the City Engineering staff as the City is almost <br /> complete with the reconstruction of James A venue. He publicly thanked staff <br /> members Adam Gee, Brian Lee, Saber Sarwary and Carlos Espinoza, and the entire <br /> department under Community Development Director Nelson, for an excellent job. <br /> B. Mayor Howard thanked staff for doing a great job in public outreach to <br /> neighborhood residents of James Street and to the newspapers and keeping them <br /> apprised of the status of the project.
