DEPARTMENT HEADS FEEDBACKIDISCUSSION ON PRIORITIES WITH <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Facilitator Reeves listed Council priorities and asked for staff comments. <br /> 1. Code Enforcement <br /> Community Development Direction Nelson described impacts of implementing traffic <br /> calming, traffic improvements including traffic claming, eastside of Highway 101 and <br /> the Woodside corridor. She said Council had approved a third code enforcement officer, <br /> and advised that staff would soon revise the sign ordinance and asked how vigorously <br /> Council wanted staff to enforce the new codes. <br /> City Manager Everett described code enforcement, beautification and clean up <br /> activities and costs. <br /> Fire Chief Montez asked Council to consider the cost impacts of new fire and building <br /> codes and Aqua Terra enforcement. <br /> Public Works Services Director Ingram discussed the costs of enforcement such as the <br /> recommendations in the recent report on shopping cart abatement. <br /> 2.
