He said they are color coordinated and very handsome. <br /> Mr. Saye encouraged everyone to come downtown and see the new furniture as well as <br /> shop in the businesses on Broadway. <br /> 3. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Councilman Leipzig asked for clarification on Item 3.E. Finance Director Ponty said, "This <br /> item is a result of the recent disaster declaration in Redwood City due to flooding. Our staff <br /> has begun working with FEMA, and this is a requirement of the State of California and FEMA. <br /> They want Councils and governing boards to go on record... (identifying) who is authorized to <br /> represent the City in terms of filing claims.... In the past it has been the City Manager or <br /> Finance Director." Council Member Leipzig asked if this process needed to be done each time <br /> an event occurred and Finance Director Ponty answered "yes."
