It is assumed the assessments will be visual assessments only and will nat <br /> inciude diagnostic testing or entry into confined spaces. <br /> Deliverable:Technicai Memorandum Documenting Pump Station Inspections. <br /> Schedule: to be campleted by April 30,2014. <br /> 2. �tarm Drain�ge Pipe Trunks <br /> Consultant's inspection of storm drainage pipe trunks shall include facilities selected in coordination with the <br /> Ciry. The outfalls for each of the pump stations shail also need to be inspected by Consultant for <br /> sedimentation and gate operation. <br /> Consultant shall work with Remote inspection Technologies (RIT) to use their services to geo-locate and to <br /> inspect existing pipe lines. These a�e robotic platforms with multiple sensor suites specifically designed for <br /> the internal assessment of a variery of pipeline types.This technique can provide spatial and elevation (X,Y,Z} <br /> information, pipe sizes (via a laser or sonar scan), still images, and videos. The scans and videos will allow <br /> assessment of service conditions along pipe systems. <br /> Plan for Field Surveys and Inspection: Consultant shall perform each task as follows: <br /> 1. Prepare Overall GIS Map from database.The map will show all the City facilities. <br /> 2. Gategorize facilities by size and geometry,age(for those with as-builts),known service problems,etc. <br /> 3. Define facilities to be inspected. These remote pipe inspections can be prioritized based on known <br /> problems,age,sedimentation probability,and other similar factors with input from the City. <br /> 4. Prepare Inspection Plan. The plan will define which pipes will include: 1.Visuaf inspeetion (SD or HD <br /> camera),2.Size and sediment information (LIDAR modeling). <br /> 5.
