authorized, the City• may require such type of guarantee <br /> as it deems necessary to insure that the conditions <br /> imposed in connection with the granting of such exception <br /> will be complied with. <br /> "Section 30 . 70 . Map Processing Fee , Appeal Fee. <br /> An application for the processing of any land division, <br /> whether a subdivision or not , and an appeal from an <br /> advisory agency decision , shall be accompanied by a reason- <br /> able filing fee in an amount as may f-'om to -to- tire- be <br /> established by resolution of the Council . Such filing fees <br /> shall not be refundable . <br /> "Section 30 . 71 . Deposits . In addition to the fees as <br /> may be imposed under the provisions of Section 30 . 70 above, <br /> the City may require the subdivider to deposit such funds <br /> as the City may determine will be necessary to partially <br /> defray the actual costs of conducting investigations , review- <br /> ing improvement plans , recording of applicable plans and <br /> performing of construction inspection and testing services <br /> which will be incurred by City in the processing of maps <br /> and in the approving of subdivision improvements required <br /> in connection with a project . Failure of the subdivider to <br /> supply the necessary documents shall automatically result <br /> in forfeiture of ten percent of the deposit funds not <br /> previously encumbered . <br /> "Costs shall be based on average hourly rates of the <br /> City personnel necessary for processing the aforementioned <br /> documents and for providing the required services in connection <br /> yv <br />
