The report of such investigation shall recommend the <br /> corrective actions required to prevent structural damage <br /> to each building to be constructed on building sites within <br /> the subdivision. If in the opinion of the Building Official , <br /> the soils condition within the subdivision exhibit a high <br /> degree of complexity, the Building Official may require <br /> detailed investigations on several or all lots of the <br /> proposed subdivision. The Building Official , as a condition <br /> for the issuance of any building permit, may require that <br /> the recommended corrective action of a civil engineer be <br /> incorporated into the construction of each building within <br /> the proposed subdivision. <br /> "Section 30 . 84 . Geologic Report. For all divisions of <br /> land for which a parcel map or final map is required which <br /> land has been designated in the seismic element of the General <br /> Plan as containing hazardous soil conditions or otherwise <br /> has been determined by the Building Official as containing <br /> potentially hazardous conditions , a preliminary geologic <br /> report , prepared or approved by a geologist registered in <br /> this state and certified in engineering geology shall be <br /> incorporated in any environmental review documents for such <br /> project . <br /> "If such preliminary geologic report indicates the <br /> presence of geologic problems which, if not corrected or <br /> adequately planned for in the design of a subdivision, would <br /> result in structural defects in any building to be constructed <br /> on a site , a geologic investigation for the affected parts of <br /> the land division shall be performed and a report of the <br /> findings shall be submitted with the tentative parcel map or <br /> Y5 <br />
