Such planting <br /> materials shall be approved by the Director of Parks and <br /> Recreation, and street trees shall be installed by City <br /> personnel under his direction. <br /> "Section 30 . 123 . Sidewalks . Sidewalks shall be <br /> installed to the standard specifications of City. Where steep <br /> topography or unique local conditions on local access streets <br /> make provision of sidewalks impractical , as determined by the <br /> Director of Public Works or the Planning Director , either <br /> may recommend alternatives to the Subdivision Committee or <br /> the Planning Commission. Such alternatives shall give considera <br /> tion to providing a reasonable level of public safety. <br /> "Section 30 . 124 . Curbs and Gutters .
