land with the General Plan shall be considered by the <br /> appropriate advisory agency prior to such time as it <br /> takes action on such division of land. <br /> "Such report is not required for a proposed subdivision <br /> which involves : <br /> " (1) The disposition of the remainder of a <br /> larger parcel which was acquired and used in part <br /> for street purposes; <br /> " (2) Acquisitions , dispositions or abandon- <br /> ments for street widening; or <br /> " (3) Alignment projects, provided that the <br /> advisory agency expressly finds that any such <br /> disposition for street purposes , acquisitions , <br /> dispositions or abandonments for street widening, <br /> or alignment projects is of a minor nature and is <br /> in the public interest. <br /> 2 "Section 30 . 8 . Interpretation. In the interpretation <br /> and application of the provisions of this chapter , its <br /> provisions shall be minimum requirements , except where they <br /> are expressly stated to be maximum requirements . Its provi- <br /> sions are not intended to impair or interfere with any <br /> private restrictions placed upon real property by covenant <br /> or deed; provided , however , that where the provisions of <br /> this chapter impose a greater restriction upon the subdivision <br /> of land than is imposed or required by such private restric- <br /> tions , the provisions of this chapter shall control . <br /> "Whenever the provisions of this chapter are in conflict <br /> with another provision of this Code or with an ordinance or <br /> 2 <br />
