Considered out of order at this time. - Discussion of Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department staff support to the Civic Cultural Commission, Fair Oaks Community Center Advisory Board, Parks and Recreation Commission, Senior Affairs Commission, Child Care Advisory, Pride and Beautification, and Youth Advisory Committees; (209) Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department Superintendent Centeno described staffs recommendation to postpone advertisement ofvacanéies on the Fair Oaks Community Center Advisory Board, the Parks and Recreation Commission and the Senior Affairs Commission pending receipt of a report; extend the terms of those current Board and Commission Members which would expire in May, 1998, pending recommendation; and at the request of the Civic Cultural Commission direct staff to recruit for current vacancies. Superintendent Centeno described staffs desire to take the opportunity to investigate a possible reorganization of the subject boards, committees and commissions. She said the Senior Affairs Commission wished to go ahead with recruitment as it wished to have a full complement of members during its budget deliberations.
