Nominations and selection of Vice Mayor for a two-year term, conducted by the <br /> Mayor; <br /> Mayor Howard opened the nominations for Vice Mayor of the City of <br /> Redwood City. <br /> Couneilman Hartnett nominated Council Member Ruskin. He said, "Council <br /> Member Ruskin has served not only our Council, but out City, with great <br /> distinction since elected the top vote getter in the election in which he became a <br /> Council Member. He has served our community with such great distinction that <br /> he has been recognized not only by the members of our community but by those <br /> outside our community as an extraordinary community servant. His qualities <br /> - are many, and I won't list them all tonight. But I'd like to mention a few.
