8.A. - Page 34 ATTACHMENT 1 <br /> devices shall be electronically supervised. (Title 24, Part 9, CCR, Section <br /> 907.2.9) <br /> 65. For the purpose of fire alarm annunciation, each floor of the building shall <br /> be considered as a separate zone. (NFPA 72- 2007 Edition, Section <br /> 4.4.6.6.1) <br /> 66. Fire alarm signals shall be transmitted to the central station and <br /> retransmitted by zone to the public safety communications center <br /> (Ordinance 2326). <br /> 67. Single or multiple station smoke alarms shall be installed and maintained in <br /> Group R-2 and R-3 occupancies regardless of occupant load at all the <br /> following locations: <br /> a. On the ceiling or wall outside of each separate sleeping area <br /> in the immediate vicinity of bedrooms. <br /> b. In each room used for sleeping purposes. <br /> c. In enclosed common stairwells of apartment complexes and <br /> other multiple-dwelling complexes. <br /> (Title 24, Part 9, CCR, Section 907.2.10.1.2) <br /> 68. Multiple fire alarm systems within single protected premises are not <br /> permitted. <br /> 69. All fire alarm systems shall be certified by the Underwriters Laboratories <br /> (Ordinance 2326). <br /> 70. Key boxes of sufficient size shall be installed at all entrances to the building. <br /> These key boxes shall contain sufficient numbers of keys to allow access <br /> to all parts of the building as well as the fire protection equipment and <br /> systems. Literature from the manufacturer of these products and ordering <br /> information can be obtained from the Fire Department by calling (650) 780- <br /> 7400 or at www.knoxbox.com. (IFC 506.1) <br /> Transportation <br /> 71. Prior to the issuance of a Building Permit, the Applicant must pay the Traffic <br /> Impact Fee, to be calculated by the City based on the net new PM peak <br /> hour trips. <br /> Building <br /> 72. The new construction shall be in conformance with the 2013 California <br /> Building, Mechanical, Electrical, plumbing, Energy, Green Building Codes, <br /> Redwood City Green Building ordinance and local amendments. <br /> Miscellaneous <br /> 73.
