MATTERS OF COUNCIL INTEREST - Out of order at this time (203). <br /> This item limited to fifteen minutes. <br /> A. Councilwoman La Berge said that earlier in the year she had reported that SBSA Waste <br /> Water Treatment Plant had been named Plant of the Year for this Region, and she was <br /> pleased to announce that SBSA has now been selected Plant of the Year for California. <br /> SBSA serves Redwood City, San Carlos, Belmont, and good portions of Menlo Park, <br /> Portola Valley, Atherton, Woodside and East Palo Alto. Councilwoman La Berge, the <br /> Council's representative to SBSA, also announced that SBSA's Senior Operator was also <br /> named the California Operator of the year, the third time since 1989 that SBSA has <br /> received the Operator of the Year Award. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> A. COMBINED PUBLIC HEARINGS, APPEALS (603) <br /> Mayor Hartnett announced that the Council would hear all testimony on the following <br /> Appeals and related matters, and no action would take place at this meeting. After all <br /> testimony was heard, Council would probably close the public hearing.
