Side yards may vary in width where the finished outside <br /> wall of a building is not parallel with the side lot <br /> line or is broken or otherwise irregular. In such <br /> case, the average width of the side yard setback where <br /> adjacent to the building shall be not less than the <br /> otherwise required minimum side yard setback; provided <br /> that such side yard setback shall not be narrower at <br /> any point than four-fifths of the otherwise required <br /> minimum side yard setback, but never less than four (4) <br /> feet in any event. <br /> b. Whenever building setback lines shown on a final <br /> recorded subdivision map approved subsequent to the <br /> original effective date of this ordinance provide for a <br /> greater side yard setback on the street side of a <br /> corner lot than that required in this ordinance, then <br /> said side yard setback shall be as shown by the setback <br /> lines on said map, notwithstanding any provisions in <br /> this ordinance to the contrary. " <br /> SECTION 13. Section 32. 7 of Ordinance No. 1130 , the Redwood <br /> City Zoning Ordinance, as amended, is hereby amended to read as <br /> follows: <br /> "Section 32. 7.
