The mixed-use districts offer incentives for the creation of true residential and CD <br /> commercial/office developments. <br /> Program BE-87 Service Infrastructure TBI No work to date. <br /> Impacts Benchmarks <br /> Program BE-88 Public Investment Cost I/O Because the City has successfully created three Priority Development Areas,it is well situated to <br /> Recovery obtain federal and state grants.The City is also exploring a downtown Business Improvement <br /> District that could also provide funds to capital projects. <br /> Program BE-89 Freeway Visibility TBI -Areas along Highway 101 continue to be zoned with Industrial,Commercial Park or General <br /> Commercial Designations,facilitating regional retail. <br /> Program BE-90 Caltrain-Employment Zones I/O Shuttles continue to operate between the San Carlos Caltrain Station and employers in Redwood <br /> Transit Connection Shores(Oracle and Clipper shuttles)and between the Redwood City Caltrain Station and <br /> employers in MidPoint Technology Park and Pacific Shores. <br /> Program BE-91 Grand Boulevard Initiative -Promoting Economic Development along El Camino real continues to utilize The Grand Boulevard <br /> Initiative as a basis for this activity.The June 2011 adoption of the Mixed-Use Corridor Zoning <br /> Ordinance along the ECR remains a contributing factor supported by the GBI. <br /> Program BE-92 Business-to-Business Sales I/O City staff has been meeting quarterly with the City's sales tax consultant to monitor business-to <br /> Tax Study business sales tax generators.
