Annual General Plan Progress Report for Calendar Year 2013 <br /> 2013 <br /> Program Number Program Description Status Date Completed 2013 Update <br /> Program BE-130 Underground Utilities I/O The City is in the process of implementing the Middlefield Underground Utility District. <br /> Program BE-131 Telecommunications I/O As part of the development review process,staff continues to review applications for new and <br /> Infrastructure Review existing telecommunication facilities within the City to ensure the installation is compatible with <br /> surrounding land uses. Staff is also in the process of developing a Wireless Telecommunication <br /> Facilities Policy,to provide a clear process for applications on private and City-owned property. <br /> Program BE-132 Expand Public Access to TBI <br /> Wireless Internet <br /> Program BE-133 Require Technology TBI While the City has not adopted specific standards or requirements relating to high quality <br /> Installation in Large-Scale technology in new large-scale developments,these features are expected by potential tenants <br /> Projects within the Silicon Valley region and the incorporation of such features is occuring due to market <br /> forces. The City will continue to explore whether or not regulations and requirements are <br /> necessary. <br /> Program BE-134 Green Building Ordinance C 5/5/10 The Green Building Ordinance became effective on May 5,2010. <br /> Program BE-135 Recycling Collection Facilities I/A April 2013 The Zoning Code was amended in April 2013 to include three new mixed-use land use <br /> in New Development designations: MU-N,MU-C,and MU-LW. These new zoning districts include standards for <br /> recycling and refuse storage facilities for new development.
