Annual General Plan Progress Report for Calendar Year 2013 <br /> 2013 <br /> Program Number Program Description Status Date Completed 2013 Update <br /> Program H-26 Acquisition and I/O The City ded$450,000 in al Home Investment Partnership Act(HOME)funds to a <br /> Rehabilitation of Existing nonprofit(Kainos)to acquire an existing single family home to provide permanent supportive <br /> Housing housing for four adults with developmental disabilities.The City also provided$400,000 in federal <br /> Community Development Block Grant(CDBG)funds to a nonprofit(Mental Health Association)to <br /> acquire a site to develop approximately 15 units of permanent supportive housing. Both activities <br /> will serve extremely low income persons. <br /> Program H-27 Consult with Public Agencies I/A The City is actively involved in regional and local jurisdiction coordination,especially as pertaining <br /> to implementation of SB375 and Sustainable Community Strategy. The City also plays an active <br /> role in 21(Housing)Elements,a consortium of San Mateo County jurisdictions,and continues to <br /> support regional efforts to address Article 34. <br /> Buiding Community Element <br /> Public Places <br /> Program BC-1 Redwood City Parks and I/O 1.Completed renovation of Mezes Park 2. Finalizing design plans for Jardin de Ninos Park. 3. <br /> Facilities Needs Assessment Finalizing plans for Main St.Dog Park. 4.Completed Fair Oaks Field rennovation.5. Initiated <br /> neighborhood meetings for Linden Park restoration. <br /> Program BC-2 Transit and Public Places I/O The City continues to coordinate with SamTrans on bus stop siting,including coordination to <br /> Integration ensure service to new public facilities(such as the new County Jail off of Maple Street). <br /> Program BC-3 Land Dedication and In-Lieu I/O Park In Lieu fees from numerous housing projects have been received. City Council approved the <br /> Fees use of funds for the Main St. Dog Park,Linden Park,and Red Morton Playground projects. <br /> Program BC-4 Urban Beautification I/O Landscape crew staff maintain Courthouse Square,the Paseo,City Hall,Main Library landscape <br /> and other high impact areas in downtown.
