Mrs. Vera Eskin, 2711 Delaware Avenue, also protested and quoted sections from Ordinance �' � No. 600. She also read som�e excerpts from the County Planning Commisaion minutes of April 16, 1952, regarding the petition of Mr. Dorman to rezone from R-1 to R-4 in which the petition was denied. Mr. Bryant, member of t he Methodist Church Board, stated that the Church was taking a ""'"� neutral stand in the matter. The following people also spoke in protest of the reZOning .�.�r to commercial propert�: John Coyle, Mrs. Thelma Weinstein and lt�rs. Rankin. Councilman Spillers moved close of public hearing, secanded by Councilman Granger, and carried. Mr. Gleason stated that the HigXilands Club recommended that R-3 zoning be accepted. Councilman Spillers moved that the above mentioned property be re�oned to C-1-H. Motion lost for lack of second. Councilman BritsGhgi moved that the property be rezonsd to R-3 as recommended by the Planning Commission, seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried on roll call. Councilman Stout moved introduction oP �rdinance rezoning the propert� from U to R-3, seconded by Councilman Britschgi and carried on roll call. Councilman Spillers moved introduction of ordinance, seconded b�r Councilman Jones and carried on roll call. PUBLIC HE.ARING OF OFFICIAL PLAN LINES OF MARSHALL STREET. Affidavit of publication was ordered filed. Mayor Herkner announced public hearing and there being no protests, vrritten or oral, Councilman Spillers moved close of hearing, seconded by Councilman Royer and carried. Councilman Royer then offered RESOLUTION No. 16qo accepting the oPficial plan lines of Marshall Street, seconded by Councilman Spillers. On the question, Councilman Granger stated that in his opinion the Council had already ac- cepted plan lines for Marshall Street. Planning Commisaioner Joesten stated that the � Stecher-Traun� property had held up the acceptance of the plan lines. The plan lines up for acceptance is from Maple Street to the creek.
