It was the recommendation of the Real Estate Committea that the City accept �825 Por the Cityts equity in Lots 14 and 21, Block 12, qlest Redwood. Councilma.n Royer moved '� acceptance of the Committee�s recommendation, seconded by Councilman Spillers. Motion ' � carried on roll call vrith Councilman Herkner voting N0. Councilman Ro�er moved that the Council accept the recommendation of t he Real Estate Committee, that the City accept �300 per lot together with easement as prescribed by the City Sngineer for its � equity in Lots 10, 11, 12 and 13, Block 9, West Redwood. Motion seconded by Couneil- man Spillers and carried on roll call. `"'� COUNCILMAN STDUT�S REPQRT REGARDING YOII'I�i CENTER BUILDING. Councilman Stout reported on the distribution of a letter which he turned over to the City Clerk. This letter was read by the Clerk pro-tempore. Councilman Granger moeed that the Council concur in Councilman Stout�s letter and that he, Councilman Stout, be named as chairman to the Youth Center Committee, seconded by Councilm�an Britschgi n nd carried. ARayor Herkner then appainted Councilman Stout as a committee of one. - COUNCILMAN BRITSCHGI'S 'REPORT REGARDING THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF UPTCiN STREET. Council- man Britschgi asked that the matter be placed on the agende for the first meeting in June. CITY ATTORNHY CURRIE�S REPQRT 4N PROPOSED Dt}G LEASH ORDINANCE. City Attorney Currie re- ported that he had three different proposals and that just as soon as the Council .�w deeided which one t hey wanted he would proceed. The matter was referrad to the ,Animal � Committee for consideration as to xhich amendment should be made. Councilman Granger moved this report be made the first �eting of June, seconded by Councilman Royer. Mr. Gleason reported that City Attorney was instructed to bring in e report on the fi�at mseting of May. Why the delgy? City Attorney Currie reported that if the Council kno�rs what variety oP leash ordinance they Wanted they could adopt it tonight. Motion carr3ed. Councilman Spillers stated that the City �+Ianger should contact the Count�t and ask that the enforcement of ths present ordinance be increased. Magor Herkner ap- pointed Councilmen Jones, Spillers and Britschgi to the Animal Committee with Council- man Jone� as chairman. CITY ATTORNEY CURRIE�S REPORT ON SURFACE RIGHTS OF HETCH HETCHY. City Attorney Currie reported that to date he had not received any reply to his letter. He recommended thet � the City �Iariager be authorized to eaecute agreement with the City and Gounty of San �..�. Francisco including a cle.use that the Citg was not waiving any of �heir rights in any other portion af the Hetch Hetchy. Councilman Spillers moved acceptara�ce of City Attorney Currie�s recormnendation, seconded by Councilman Royer �xbd carried. CITY ATTORNEY CIIRRIE'3 REPORT ON CONCES3ION OF HAWES PARK. City Attorney Currie reported '�� � that it would be impossible to award the concession �rithout calling for bids. The � � City should also decide what type of agreement should be made. For e�ample ths kind of building would be required if any, terma of concession, instu�ance, Health Department e.pproval, utilities, etc. Councilman Britschgi moved that the matter be referred to the Park and Recreation Commission, seconded by Councilman Royer, City Attorney to meet with the Commission. l�otion carri�d.
