MAYOR GRANGER BROUGHT UP TFiE MATTER OF LOCATING A PARCEL UPON WHICH TQ ERECT A BUILDING FOR BOY AND GIRL SCOUTS, ETC. He requested the Park and Recreation Committee to assist in locating some small area �►here such e building could be built if legal. The Recreation Commission Chairman Stout stated that he �as of the opinion that something should be done f'or the Scouts who have been shifted aroung considerably. Fiowever, � t � he thought sponsoring groups should have some responsibility in the matter. Mr. Stout agreed to give the matter some thought and do whatever possible in an attempt to f ind a location. Councilman Royer called atten�ion to the fact that Councilman Jones had been recently appointed for the special purpose of covering Boy Scout building sug- ""� gestion in connection with Stafford Park. Councilman Jones stated that a donation of � labor and materials was at hadn, several clubs were willing to furnish some funds and that should a building site be found construction appeared to be very promising.
