Counci�.man Britschgi .�..r <br /> offered the resolution and moved adoption� seconded by Councilman Jones and carried on <br /> roll call. <br /> PETITION REQUESTING REPAIR OF CLINT�N STREET BRIDGE BETWEEN ROOSEVELT AND OAR AVENUE. A com- <br /> munication from City Engineer Jain indicating his opinion that it would be necessary to <br /> form an asseasment district as has been done in several instances where wooden bridges <br /> have been replaced by concrete culberts. The City legally would be able to appropriate <br /> the aum of �3,000•00 from bond funds. However, the property owners would be expected to <br /> pay the balance of the cos t of the culvert. A delegation of property o�rners in the aud- <br /> ience were asked to express their agreement to the selection of a cor�n.i.ttee which �rould <br /> in turn meet with representatives of the �ity. The City Clerk was directed to secure <br /> capies of Mr. Jain�s letter and mail them to the signers of the petition.
