City Manager concurs in the above recommsndation. Councilman. Britschgi questioned the msthod of ad- vertising for bids resulting in the final decision in recommending the Ford V-8 while being higher than the Chevrolet. City Mana,ger Rolison stated that in order to permit everybody to bid prices were asked for either a six cylinder or a V-8 car. On this basis the Ford 6 was the lowest and for �J}0.00 more than the next lo�rest bid a V-8 could be purchased which was the choice of the Police Department. Councilman Spillers moned approval, second- ed by Councilman Jones and carried, Councilman Britachgi voting N0.
