P.G.&E. sub- <br /> mitted a copy of astimate of alleged damege to their equipmsnt on two different occasions <br /> caused by fires in the City Dump. The first one occurred on Ma� 26, 1954, damage estimated <br /> at �352.61, the second occurring on or about June 17� 195�}, causing alleged damages total- <br /> ing �67.02. Councilman Granger moved the claims be denied and referred to the lesseefs <br /> insurance carrier, s�conded by Councilman Royer and carried. The Coirnnittee recormnended to the <br /> Hospital Administrator that a flashing amber light be installed on the Alameda de ' las Pul- <br /> gas north of the entrance to the Hospital to afford protection to the visitors entering <br /> the Alameda de las Pul.gas at this location. The Corr�nittee, however, feels this is not the <br /> complete answer and would prefer that t he present entrance and exit to the Hospital be used <br /> as an entrance only and that an additional road be constructed for use as both entrance ""� <br /> and exit to Whipple Avenue in the vicinity of Circle Road.
