Councilman Jones stated his
opinion tha we were operating on dangerously low basis, the 28,000.00 in Unbudeted
Reserve being reserved to take care of emergencies. Councilman Royer stated he was in
agreernent with Councilman Jones, however, the Council had stated that they could get by
on 1.08 and nov that it appeaed that the same amount of money could be raised at 1.07
 -
he thought the Council should stick to the latter figure, Councilman Granger atated that
w...
the Council had increased the rate bg one cent for specific purposes and it now being
apparent that the same amount of money could be raised at 1.07 he thought that it would
be fair to drop the one cent, the Departnent Heads to be notified that operations would be
held to economy program.
