Councilman Stout moved that letter be referred to the City Engineer, seconded by Councilman Britschgi and carried. L. M. REED REGARDING RADIO TOWER ON CITY PROPERTY ADJACENT TO REDWOOD CITY MOTEL .AND TRAILER PAR�£. Mr. Reed advised that he erected the tower not knowin that the ad acent """� ' g j property was even- tually to become a street. He requests that he be allowed to continue with this tower with "'�"' � the understanding that he will remove said tower at any time on 24 hour notice, also that he will carry insurance if the Council so desires. City Engineer Jain advised that this was an unimproved street and no particular hazard at this time. Councilman Ro�er moved � that City Attorney prepare the necessary agreement to protect the City, seconded by Coun- �; cilman Britschgi and carried. RESOLIITION OF REDWOOD CITY {KON�N�S CLUB REGARDING PICK-UP SERVICE. Councilman Granger moved that the City Manager develop the cost figures and submit same to the club so that they mag under- stand the cost of such a pro3ect, motion seconded by Councilman Royer and carried. APPOINT ACTING MAYOR TO �FFICIATE FRO� OCTOBER 17th TO 20th INCLUSIiTE. Councilman Britschgi mo�ed that Chief S. D. Wood act as 11+1ayor until the return of the Mayor. Motion seconded by Councilman Royer and carried, Citg Clerk then administered the oath to Chief tNood. The Mayor pro-tem Jones requested that Chief Wood have someone present Monday evening, October 18th, to announce the ad�ournment to October 25th should there be anyone present.
