Parkma.n Co. representing the Ame�ican Rubber <br /> Company subraitted the Iowest bid meeting specifications and he therefore recommended award- <br /> ing the bid to the Parkman Company. He recommended further that the hose under State Fire <br /> Marshal specificationa be accepted due to t he anti-mold treatment that it received. Coun- <br /> cilman Stout moved approval of Fire Chief Lodi�s recommendatian which also carried the <br /> approval of the City Manager seconded by Councilman Britsehgi and carried. "� <br /> SALE OF SOUTHWESTERLY 2 OF LOT 6, BLOCK 6, BOYD AND KENT ADDITION. Mr. Sydney Levin submitted � <br /> a bid of �775.00 whieh is writhin 90� of the appraisal establi.shed by the Real Estate com- <br /> mittee. Certified check in the amount of �77.50 was attached to Mr. Levins bid. Coun- <br /> cilman Britschgi offered Resolution #1791 and moved adoption, seconded by Councilman „�,,,� <br /> Jones and carried on roll call. Councilmen Spillers and Royer noted absent. <br /> _ � <br /> CITY ENGINEER JAIPT�S RECONiMENDATION FINAL PAYMENT OF �1,209.30 GAS TAX PROJECT #53s ALAMEDA. <br /> Couneilman Britsch�i moved approval of payment which represented the l0� retained for <br /> the customary 35 days. Councilman Stout seconded the motion and carried. <br /> R. DELL�ERG4 REPRESENTING S. PERLARIN APPEAL NOTICE TO CONSTRUCT S IDEWALK. Matter was put <br /> over to the meeting of December 6th at the request of Mr. Dell�Ergo who �as unable to <br /> attend the meeting. City Engineer Jain stated that Mr. De11�Ergo had challenged the <br /> legality of the notice and that it required destruction and replacement of sidewalks in <br /> good condition. Mr. Jain stated that some of the sidewalk was in bad condition and that <br /> there was an abandoned driveway which should be replaced as required by the side�valk ordi- <br /> nance. <br /> RECOMMENDATION ST4P SIGN VICINITY HALL OF JUSTICE BUILDING PROJECT. Police Chief Wood called <br /> � <br /> attention to the blind intersection in the vicinity of the new County Hall of Justice <br /> �vhich is now under construction. As a aid to possible prevention of automobile collisions `"�` <br /> at this intersection he recommended that stop signa be installed, to be removed when the <br /> blind intersections have been eliminated by the removal of the fence now enclosing the <br /> building site. The following are the locations of the proposed stop signs. <br /> Stopping east-bound traffic on Bradford at itts intersection with Hamilton. <br /> Stopping south-bound traffic on Hamilton at it�s intersection with Marshall. <br /> Stopping west-bound traffic on Marshall at it� � intersection with Winalow. <br /> Councilman Jones moved approval of the recommendat3on, seconded by Couz1cilman Granger and <br /> carried. <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVE ASSESSN�NT DIAGRAM, HARDING AVENUE. Councilman Britschgi offered Resolution <br /> #1792 and moved adoption, seconded by Councilman Jones and carried on roll call.
