Councilman Britschgi commented on the fact that plans and specificationa could have been secured from the Paddock Engineering Company, however, it appears that our own plans and specifications were necess�.ry before bids could be advertised. Councilman Spillers moved approval of City �ngineerts recommendation to award contract to Paddock Engineering Company at ��.,878.00, seconded by Councilwoman Tinney and carried. PACIFIC GAS & ELECTRIC COMPANY WAS READ STATING THAT REHABILITATION OF THE 3TREET LIGHTING SYSTEM was approximately 75� complete. Modernizing of the remaining lamps is nowr in process and they expect to be through with th e program within the next 60 days. JOHN ALBERTOH, 1050 Francisco Street, San Francisco, stating that it was his intention to build a wall alon�side his property at 64 Circle Road, and that it was also his intention to extend the sidewalk to the wall. This letter was ,�._ referred to the City Engineer to report back. �� COUNCILMAN ROYER REQUESTED CITY ENGINEER TO CHECK KENTFIELD AVENUE AND PLACE ENOUGH REDROCK TO MAKE THIS STREET PASSABLE. It was his thought that temporary repairs might possil�ly encourage property owners to request improvements. COUNCILMAN ROYER DISCUSSED TIjE 2/3�s of an acre park site on Maddux Drive upon which the City holds an option to purchase. It will be the Cityts obligation to pay for the street work, also to pay interest as indicated in the option.
