2`'0 specificat�i.ons shall include all necessary field profiles, cross sections, bench marks, reference points, etc. needed to prepare the complete plans and_specific.ations. The City will perform necessary field work to prepare a contour map sufficient to enable you to lo- cate the sewer mains, from �vhich you can determine the necessary eesements to be acquired for the work. The City will then prepare the legal descriptions of these easements, based upon �our plans, and will perform the necessary field work in obtaining the easements. Plans ""'""� shall be prepared upon tracing clvth in ink, and shall becoma the property of the City. .�r Ten sets each of prints of plans and complete specifications shall be furnished the City for bidding purposes. The stencils shall be made available to the City for additional sets of specifications, if necessary. Councilman Spillers moved approval seconded by Council- man Jones and carried. CITY ENGINEER RE: PROPOSED IMPROVEb�NT BEECH STREET. Mr. Jain advised that soil conditions have been investigated and that the present base roek material can be utilized. The exact amount of replacem+ent cannot be determined until actual construction is under way. Mr. Jain further.recommenda that concrete gutters and 2" asphaltic plant-mia paving be required and sufficient draina�e facilities at both Heller and 1Vliddlefield Road be constructed to properly carry storm waters across these .intersections. Any curbs which are damaged or at � an unsatisfactory �rade for drainage would have to be included with the constructions of the gutters. He recommends that no sidewalks be included in this pro�ect but that any "� damaged sidewalks be _handled under the provisions of the Ordinance 639. Councilman Granger suggested that a report of the Engineer� s findings be submitted to the petitioners who recently appeared to request some action b9 the Council.
