Councilman Stout moved approval, seconded by Councilman Royer and carried. � . 1'� TON FLAT-BED TRUCK FOR FIRE DEPARTIu�NT. Fire Chief Lodi recommended that bids be re�ected �`"° and new bids called for due to an error in preparing the specifications. These errors oecured when the Fire Department attempted to prepare specifications so that no dealer vrould be eliminated. City Manager Rolison concurred in Chief Lodits recommendation. Councilman Granger requested that no quotation be divulged in the interest of fairness to the bidders. City Manager Rolison advised that bids were opened in the presence of several dealers who were able to secure all of the �ompetitive bids. Mayor Herkner advised that one of the bidders had asked permission to address the Council in this matter and final aetion was held up in order that he might be given the opportunity to speak. PARKING LOT DISTRICT RESOLUTIONS. City Clerkts certificate indicatin� that petition for the formation of Parking District #1 exceeded 35� of proper�y in the district, was introduced and ordered filed. After full discus- sion and consideration, Resolution was offered by Councilman Jones who moved adoption, seconded by Councilman ��as and carried unanimously on roll call.
