Chief Lodi also ad�ised that the property <br /> owners were being contacted and were requested to clean up bad situations on their own """"" <br /> before filing the usual abatement proceedings. ,„,,, <br /> COUNCILMAN SPILLERS AGAIN C.ALLED ATTENTION to the old shack on Franklin Street adjacent to <br /> the new service station building. The Building and Fire Department were requested to <br /> make the usual inspection. <br /> COt7NCiLWOMAN TINI�Y BROUGHT UP 'I'FiE CQNDITION OF STREETS IN THE UNION AVENUE AREA. The <br /> residents have requested some temporary relief from the mud and chuck hold condition. <br /> Councilwoman Tinney stated that she had been approached by a Mrs. Martin who was inter- <br /> ested in obtaining estimates to improve the area. City Engineer Jain stated that the <br /> entire area should be improved at one time because of the drainage problem existing. <br /> City Engineer Jain suggested that the property owners purchase red rock or gravel from <br /> a contractor and have the material spread after which his department would prepare <br /> petitions but he was of the opinion that the present would be a bad time to start as <br /> � <br /> his department is endeavoring to complete the jobs now underway. <br /> � <br /> COUNCILNTAN ROYER STATED HE HAD RECEIVED A CALL F'RQM MISS GERWIN regardin� the replacement of <br /> electrolier in front of her property. City Engineer Jain stated that they had not been <br /> able to get to this job as yet.
