Mrs. Zimmerman criticized the present location of signs stopping traffic on Brewster Avenue rather thari on the side street. Ca.ptain Faulstich stated that in his opinion the signs e�ere not accomplishino the purpose for which they were installed namely control speed on Brewster Avenue. It was called to the attention of the Council that the installation was of a temporar�r and trial basis only, and not a permanent installation. COOPER, 1203 Ruby Street, appealed the decision of the Council in approving the Planning Commission� s recommendation to deny Cooper� s request to resL?bdivide Lots 1 and 2, Block 9, u"�est Redwood on t he grounds that property would be less than required sojuare footage. h2r. Cooper stated he stood a chance of losing his property due to ex- cessive assessment �mounting to �1,894.33 which increased his monthly FHA payments to �95• He desires to sell of half his property in order that he may pay off' the assessment.
