SECTION 121690 <br /> INDOOR RANGE WIRELESS TARGET CARRIER SYSTEM <br /> PART 1: GENERAL <br /> 1.01 DESCRIPTION <br /> A. Work included: <br /> a. Provide labor, equipment, supervision and materials for the <br /> installation, testing and start-up of the indoor range wireless target <br /> carrier system as shown on the drawings and as specified herein. <br /> b. Provide four (4) monorail wireless 360 degree turning target retrieval <br /> system with lighted carrier and ICU. <br /> c. Provide Master Control Computer with touch screen and one (1) tablet <br /> controller. <br /> d. Provide a manufacturer's technician to startup each unit. The <br /> technician shall be present during the field acceptance testing. <br /> e. PerForm demolition and clean-up of existing target system. <br /> f. Loading and unloading of the equipment. <br /> g. Provide O&M manuals, 12 month warranty and freight. <br /> h. This specification is based on the Meggitt Next Generation Wireless <br /> Target (XWT). <br /> 1.02 SUBMITTALS <br /> A. Prepare and format submittals in accordance with Section 01600 and as <br /> specified herein. <br /> B. Submit separate data sheets including physical size with dimensions for the <br /> following items:: <br /> a. Rail System <br /> b. Target Carrier <br /> c. Electrical Assembly <br /> d. Touch Screen Controller <br /> PART 2: PRODUCTS <br /> 2.01 GENERAL <br /> A. Include onboard power system and internal drive system that eliminated <br /> power bus bars, cables and pulleys. <br /> B. Contains an onboard rechargeable, long-life lithium battery that powers the <br /> carrier and automatically returns home if power is low. <br /> C. The carrier prow shall be made of AR500 steel and protects the rotating shaft <br /> of the target carrier system. The rail from the exposed surface of the carrier <br /> and rail hangers shall be capable to withstand occasional direct impact from <br /> most handgun ammunition. <br /> D. The target carrier shall have an illumination light fixture providing 100 lumens <br /> (max) with the ability to simulate muzzle flash. <br /> 13 <br />
