A technical design recommendation memorandum shall <br /> be prepared outlining the baseline improvements that could be included in the project <br /> and optional additional/recommended improvements that could be included up to the <br /> construction budget amount. <br /> Consultant shall begin preparation of the conceptual signing and striping plans showing <br /> the bicycle route/shared roadway markings, bicycle route signage, and the signal <br /> modification plans at Woodside/Hudson and Woodside/Hess pertaining only to the <br /> bicycle loop and pedestrian-related signal modifications. <br /> Consultant shall begin preparation of the conceptual drawings for the full signal upgrade <br /> of all the signal poles at Jefferson/Hudson. <br /> The striping and signage plans shall be prepared at a 1"=40' scale in AutoCAD format <br /> and overlaid onto the topographic base map and intersection improvement base map <br /> AutoCAD file prepared by Consultant. The signal modification pians shall be prepared at <br /> a 1"=20' scale in AutoCAD format and overlaid onto the intersection improvement <br /> basemap prepared by Consultant. <br /> Consultant has budgeted a meeting with Consultant and City staff to review the 35% <br /> submittal. The Consultant shall incorporate comments received by the City staff prior to <br /> the City conducting any public outreach meeting. <br /> ❖ Deliverables:Four(4)sets of the 35%design submittal package, electronic.pdf of <br /> the 35% <br /> submiital. <br /> Task 3: 75% Desiqn Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E) <br /> The Consultant shall review City and community comments on the conceptual plans <br /> and meet with the City to finalize the list of recommended improvements. <br /> The Consultant shall perform additional field reviews as needed, including verification of <br /> the existing utilities that may be affected by the project. Consultant shall prepare 75% <br /> design plans for the civil improvement grading, drainage, concrete and asphalt work and <br /> Consultant shall prepare 75% design plans for the signal modification and signing and <br /> striping work. <br /> All plans shall be prepared using AutoCAD software, and designs shall be in <br /> accordance with current Federal and State design standards, Califomia MUTCD <br /> guidelines, storm water protection plan/best management practices (BMP), and the City <br /> of Redwood City design standards.
