Signing and Striping Plans <br /> The Consultant shall prepare technical specifications in Caltrans format in MS Word <br /> describing each item on the bid schedule and their requirements and measurement and <br /> payment. The Consultant shall prepare 75% cost estimates and verify that construction <br /> costs are within the existing City budget. The Engineer's construction cost estimate <br /> shall be prepared in Excel electronic format. <br /> Each PS&E review submittal set shall also address any comments or revisions required <br /> from the City in the previous plan check submittal. Responses to comments shall be <br /> documented and included with the submittal. Consultant shall meet with the City staff, <br /> as needed, to review comments and recommendations. A comment matrix shall be <br /> prepared showing how Consultant addressed each review comment. The original red- <br /> line markup of the previous submittal shall be returned back to the City with the next <br /> submittal round. <br /> At this stage of the design phase, the Consultant shall prepare the Caltrans <br /> encroachment permit application form for the City to sign and submit to Caltrans District <br /> 4 Permits Office along with the 75% PS&E submittal for the pedestrian improvements at <br /> the Woodside Road intersection for their review and comments. <br /> ❖ Deliverables: Electronic full size and half size.pdf of the 75%plans; <br /> Cost estimate in MS Excel; <br /> Technical specifications in MS Word; <br /> Review comment matrix; <br /> Redline markup from previous round;and <br /> Complefed Ca/trans Encroachment application. <br /> Task 4: Construction Documents (100%1 <br /> 100% Final Design Submittal(PS&E) <br /> At this stage, the plans and special specifications shall be ready for bidding for <br /> construction. The cost estimate shall be refined based on any comments received from <br /> the City. The Consultant shall coordinate and review the approved 75% PS&E with City <br /> staff and revise based on comments and discussions.
