<br /> CONSENSUS: Mayor Hartnett determined it was the consensus of the Council <br /> to hold a Council meeting within the year in the Redwood Shores neighborhood, <br /> and include items of Redwood Shores neighborhood interest in the regular agenda. <br /> MINUTE ORDER NO. 95-010 <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> Mayor Hartnett asked if anyone would like to speak and the following people <br /> addressed the Council: <br /> Ginny Hughes, Redwood Shores neighborhood resident, stated that the Redwood <br /> Shores Homeowners Association did not speak for her, and expressed support for <br /> holding regular Council meetings at the normal place, the Board of Supervisors <br /> Chambers to focus the Council on the City as a whole. She suggested that <br /> Council could hear residents' complaints at Neighborhood Association meetings. <br /> Pete Hughes echoed his wife's sentiments, and noted the low voter turnout in the <br /> Redwood Shores neighborhood during the last election. <br /> B. Labor negotiations <br /> Council Members discussed their desire to seek other models for negotiations with <br /> the City's labor organizations, expressing their dissatisfaction of the adversarial <br /> nature of past and current negotiations. <br /> CONSENSUS: Mayor Hartnett determined it was the consensus of the Council <br /> to have the Council Personnel Committee look into other labor negotiation models <br /> and report back to the full Council during the 2nd quarter of this year. <br /> MINUTE ORDER NO. 95-011 <br /> A.
