Individual markings and delineations removed will not be measured for payment, but shall be included in <br /> the contract lump sum price paid for removing existing non-conforming striping and markings. <br /> 1.04 PAVEMENT DELINEATION DETAILS AND MARKINGS(BID ITEMS NO.3 THROUGH 16) <br /> A. The contract unit prices for installing the various PAVEMENT DELINEATION listed as bid items 3 through <br /> 16 in the schedule of bid prices (Section 00400) shall include full compensation for furnishing all labor, <br /> materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals for performing all the work necessary to supply and install <br /> pavement delineation, markings, raised markers as shown on the plans and as directed by the City <br /> Engineer. The respective unit prices shall include full compensation for layout and installation of the <br /> various work items. <br /> B. Full compensation for costs associated with street-sweeping/cleaning prior to installation of the various <br /> pavement delineation and markings items shall be considered as included in the contract unit price paid <br /> for each respective bid items, and no additional compensation will be allowed therefore. <br /> C. Payment will be made on the basis of the actual quantity of each item installed, per the unit listed in the <br /> bid proposal. Contractor and City Inspector will measure and record installed quantities for basis of <br /> payment. <br /> D. Full compensation for all additional materials and labor, not shown on the plans or specified, which are <br /> necessary to complete the installations shall be considered as included in the contract unit prices paid for <br /> pavement delineation and marking installations, and no additional compensation will be allowed therefore. <br /> 1.05 TRAFFIC SIGNS(BID ITEMS NO. 17 THROUGH 29) <br /> A. The contract unit price for installing the various TRAFFIC SIGNS listed as bid items 17 through 29 in the <br /> schedule of bid prices (Section 00400) shall include full compensation for furnishing all labor, materials, <br /> tools, equipment, and incidentals for performing all the work necessary to supply and install traffic signs, <br /> including all mounting hardware and any other necessary equipment as shown on the plans and as <br /> directed by the City Engineer. The various unit prices shall include full compensation for layout and <br /> installation of the various traffic signs. <br /> B. Payment will be made on the basis of the actual quantity of each traffic sign installed. Contractor and City <br /> Inspector will measure and record installed quantities for basis of payment. <br /> C.
