TENTATIVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN ATTACHMENT 2 <br /> 7.1.A. - Page 39 REDWOOD CITY AND <br /> REDWOOD CITY MANAGEMENT EMPLOYEES' ASSOCIATION <br /> RE: MOU CHANGES <br /> Article 15: Retirement <br /> 15.3 Tier 3 <br /> For employees hired on or after January 1, 2013 and fit the definition of new member" as set forth in <br /> Government Code Section 7522.02(f) the City will provide the CaIPERS two percent (2%) at age sixty-two <br /> (62) formula retirement plan in accordance with Government Code Section 7522.20, based on the average <br /> of three years of employment, in accordance with Government Code Section 7522.32. <br /> The employee shall pay the rate prescribed by the Public Employees' Retirement System for employee <br /> contributions to the Public Employees' Retirement System in accordance with the rules and regulations <br /> governing such employee contributions, which consists of one-half of the total normal costs for pension. <br /> New members shall be subject to the provisions of the Public Employee Pension Reform Act (PEPRA), <br /> including provisions governing reportable compensation. <br /> 15.4 Reopener <br /> If any court of competent jurisdiction or legislative change requires additional member contributions above <br /> those provided for in the MOU, the parties shall reopen the agreement for purposes of meeting and <br /> conferring about applying the amount of member payment of the employer contribution to CaIPERS (cost <br /> sharing)to member contributions. <br /> Article 16: Pay <br /> 16.2 Salary Increases <br /> 16.2.2 Internal Alignment — All RCMEA classifications shall maintain a minimum differential of +10% <br /> above the top step of subordinate classifications. <br /> The following classifications shall be internally aligned and shall maintain their minimum top step <br /> differentials to subordinate and/or benchmark classifications as indicated throughout the term of <br /> the agreement. <br /> ♦Public Works Supervisors— 15% above highest paid subordinate <br /> ♦CDGB/Home Administrator—set same as Redevelopment Project Manager <br /> Manager <br /> ♦Senior Transportation Coordinator—set same as Senior Civil Engineer <br /> 16.5 Overtime <br /> 16.5.2 An employee who is assigned to a shift consisting of more than eight (8) consecutive hours in <br /> one (1) workday (exclusive of lunch period) shall be entitled to overtime after forty (40) hours in <br /> paid status in one (1) work week. <br /> Page 13 of 13 <br />
