7.1.C. - Page 2 <br /> common Joint Use of Facilities contract based on sample contracts from the National <br /> Childhood Policy & Legal Analysis Network to Prevent Childhood Obesity (NPLAN), <br /> similar to the sample contract in the Playing Smart Joint Use Toolkit. <br /> In November 2012, the City Council and the Redwood City School Board approved a <br /> Joint Use Agreement that included six schools with the most active use by our <br /> community's youth sports organizations. We wanted to spend some time to ensure that <br /> the policies and procedures within the agreement were easy to follow and to consider <br /> any alterations. The Joint Use Team met several times and concluded that the joint use <br /> agreement works and has been beneficial to all parties. <br /> After careful review by both the County Counsel and the City Attorney, Amendment No. <br /> 1 to the Joint Use Agreement includes the remaining school sites in the District.
